Goods for Good has shipped over eight tons of clothing, toys and
educational materials to the thousands of vulnerable children
receiving services at the Chezi Rehabilitation Centre. With an orphan
population of 1.5 million children, orphan care centers throughout
Malawi provide an essential service to this growing population. Many serve as both community centers as well as homes for
orphans and other vulnerable children. The Chezi Rehabilitation
Centre, a long time partner of Goods for Good, cares for over 150
children full time, 500 others who visit daily and several hundred
children attending the local schools.
The Chezi Rehabilitation Centre shares Goods for Good's belief in the importance of a nurturing and safe environment that stresses education, physical and emotional health and involvement in local community life.
With donations from major multi-national corporations, including The Children's Place, Toys R Us and Dixon Ticonderoga, Goods for Good has shipped over 8 tons of clothing, toys and educational materials to the Chezi Rehabilitation Centre, providing both the caregivers and the children with essential support.
